“Bags, Boots & Bingo” Fundraiser Benefits Abused Children

 

“Bags, Boots & Bingo”, a fun and unique fundraising event benefiting The Martin House Children’s Advocacy Center of Gregg and Harrison Counties, is Saturday, November 9th, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the East Texas Builders’ Association Event Center, 2023 Alpine Road in Longview. “Bags, Boots & Bingo” offers an afternoon of bingo games, door prizes, refreshments, and special surprises for all who attend. Bingo game winners take home fabulous designer handbags or beautiful boots as the prizes. Door prizes include fashion jewelry, scarves, and home décor items from some of the best boutiques in East Texas.

 

Seating is limited so buy your tickets now! Tickets are just $35 in advance, $40 at the door, or reserve a table for 6 for $300. Price includes bingo game cards, refreshments, and entry into door prize drawings. The Martin House Children’s Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that every child who is suffering from abuse has an opportunity to be heard, feel protected, and receive services that are vital to his or her continued safety and future wellbeing. In FY2013, The Martin House CAC conducted 474 forensic interviews with children who were alleged or confirmed victims of abuse, and provided 223 children with mental health counseling and advocacy support.
