The chamber is celebrating 98 years of service to this community and county.
It is now taking applications for Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Humanitarian of the Year and Unsung Hero.
If you know of someone who fills any of the above for awards, please submit your application to the chamber no later than Friday, Jan. 25.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m at the Gilmer Civic Center. Serving will begin at 6:15 p.m., and the program will begin at 7.
Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. If you reserve a table for eight, your price is $144. Reservations need to be made by Feb. 7.
Call the chamber at 903-843-2413 for your tickets, contact any chamber director, or come by the chamber at 106 Buffalo St. on the northwest corner of the courthouse square.
The chamber will have a surprise speaker.
