Courtesy Photo<br> CHES PATTERSON of Austin, who just turned 16, was in Gilmer with his family over Thanksgiving, visiting his grandparents, Bill and Mary Ann Patterson, when he shot this 10-point buck with a shotgun just west of Gilmer off Cherokee Trace. He is the son of Bill and Diana Patterson of Austin. He bagged the deer at 8 a.m. on Thansgiving morning.
