MOUNT VERNON—General surgeon Dale Klepzing, MD, and OB/GYN surgeon Trey Vanderburg, MD, will begin seeing patients at the ETMC First Physicians clinic in Gilmer on Tuesday, March 19.

“Drs. Klepzig and Vanderburg will perform surgeries at ETMC Pittsburg,” said Jorge Leal, administrator of ETMC Gilmer.

“However, adding clinic hours in Gilmer will allow them to do preoperative consultations and provide post-operative care to our patients closer to home. It’s just another way we are trying to make healthcare more easily accessible to the patients we serve,” Leal said.

Dr. Klepzig performs a wide range of general surgical procedures. He earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.

Dr. Vanderburg is an OB/GYN that specializes in gynecologic surgeries. He also provides well-woman exams at his office at ETMC Pittsburg. He earned his doctor of medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
