Equipment Inc., Donates Forklift to Longview Habitat for Humanity Foundations for the Future Capital Campaign
August, 16, 2013 - Longview, TX. ---Equipment Inc. of Longview delivered a big gift to the Longview Habitat for Humanity ReStore today-a forklift! The equipment was donated by the business as part of the Foundations for the Future Capital Campaign for use in the planned ReStore facility.
“We are a Longview owned and operated business and are so excited to be able to contribute to Longview Habitat,” said Jason Dutton, Area Manager. “We know that this forklift is being put to good use for a great cause.”
The 1998 Yale Forklift is equipped with a 187’’ mast, side shift; LP powered, 1550 hours and has a retail value of $10,500. ReStore Manager, Raul Zapata, said, “It is a great day here at the ReStore! This forklift is a tremendous blessing. Until now, we have been forced to load and unload large trucks and trailers by hand and if we didn’t have enough manpower on hand we were just stuck or had to rent equipment. Now, we can work quickly, save money and provide a safer environment for our employees!” he said.
