First National Bank supports Special Olympics

FIRST NATIONAL BANK of Gilmer donated $505 to the first Gilmer Special Olympics event, which was held Friday, March 30, at Buckeye Stadium. The donation covered the medals given to  the  winners. FNB President and CEO Kelly Stretcher said, “We are excited to be a part of the very first Special Olympics event here in Gilmer and look forward to many more.” From left are Stretcher, Shawn Donahoe of the sponsoring Gilmer Kiwanis Club; Clayton Henson, who is an FNB officer and a Kiwanis Club member; Kiwanis President Ed Williams; and Amanda Wells of the co-sponsoring Upshur County Co-op.
