On April 7, 2012, the Jarvis Christian College Board of Trustees approved five new sports programs for the upcoming academic school year 2012-2013:

• Men Baseball
• Men Track & Field
• Women Track & Field
• Women Volleyball
• Men Soccer

Jarvis Christian College is thrilled to expand its commitment of supporting collegiate athletics with the addition of these new programs.  “Bringing back baseball, volleyball, soccer and track & field will enhance our athletic program,” stated Elissa Burwell, Director of Athletics.  “We feel that these new programs will have a significant impact on student campus life.”

ABOUT JARVIS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

Founded in 1912, Jarvis Christian College is a historically Black College affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  The mission of the College is to prepare each student intellectually, socially, spiritually and personally to participate in and contribute to a global and technological society.
