Triggered source & Reporting Violation:

Ground Water Rule

Glenwood WSC/PWS 2300005 failed to collect the required number of triggered source bacteriology samples for fecal indicator monitoring of the ground water system during January 2017. this monitoring is required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s “Drinking Water Standards” and the federal “Safe Drinking Water Act,” Public Law 95-523.

Triggered source samples are used to monitor water quality and indicate if the water is free of fecal indicator bacteria. Following a positive routine total coliform result in our distribution system, our water system is required to submit on triggered source samples for every active ground water well. Failure to collect all required triggered source samples is a violation of the monitoring requirements and we are required to notify you of this violation.

The Upshur County Commissioner’s Court is accepting bids for the sale of surplus and salvage property. All items may be viewed online and bids will only be accepted online at AuctioneerExpress.com. The sale will begin ending at 11:00 a.m. on September 13, 2017.

Union grove water supply corporation will receive sealed bids for a construction of a new water department building. Bid packets can be picked up at the Admin Building, 11015 union grove rd., Gladewater, 75647, Upshur County, TX. Deadline for accepting bids will be September 25, 2017 at 10am. Bid opening will be the same day 6pm at the regular scheduled board meeting.
