Scope of work: Old Elementary School (corner of Scott & Bledsoe Streets) - Removal of approximately 4,400 sf. of asbestos flooring, approximately 150 sf. of asbestos panels, window glaze from approximately 75 windows, and approximately 1,985 lf. of asbestos TSI. Plans and Specifications may be obtained from the Project Consultant at the pre-bid conference for a non refundable fee of $125.00 payable to ERI Consulting, Inc. The contract shall include Technical Specifications and contract conditions, a copy of which will be available at the pre-bid conference. A Cashier’s Check or a Certified Check payable to Gilmer ISD, or an acceptable Surety Proposal Bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid, including alternates, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds on forms provided as outlined in the Specifications. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required.
