And something new this year! The Fun Brothers will be bringing three of their bounce houses to the Rail of Lights, providing entertainment at the depot the same nights as the train rides. You’ll enjoy The Xcelerator, the Jousting Ring and the Sports Combo. The Xcelerator is a dry slide standing at a stunning four story's tall. Let the kids wear themselves out in the Jousting Ring, featuring two pedestals in the middle from which they knock each other off. The Sports Combo is sure to be a big hit. Climb inside, jump around and then take a plunge down the dry slide. One price includes all three bounce houses and is priced separately from the train ride at $5 for patrons with a train ticket and $10 for all others. (Cash only).
The antique train is a restored gas-powered Plymouth Locomotive built in 1964. The beautiful enclosed coach offers a warmer experience while the open-canopied observation cars provide an excellent view of the ride along the river. The 50-year old steam train used in years past is out-of-service undergoing extensive boiler repairs.
