Students encouraged to register for classes early to ensure availability

Registration for fall 2012 courses is currently under way for all students until Aug. 15.

Late Registration is set for 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Wednesday, Aug. 21-22, but students are encouraged to register prior to these dates to ensure class availability.

Although KC is no longer distributing printed course schedules and registration guides, students can access the information on the KC website to help with registration decision-making.

Kilgore.edu features a Fall 2012 Registration Guide and Available Courses Search which show what classes are available.

July:

20: (Friday) Fall early registration payment deadline; online payments remain open through Sunday, July 22: (unpaid classes will be dropped)*

23: (Monday) No Fall registration, schedule changes, or payment accepted

24: (Tuesday) Fall registration resumes (web registration opens 6 a.m.)

25: (Wednesday) Summer II refunds available

August:

2: (Thursday) Summer II last day to withdraw from enrollment or drop class with a “W”

9: (Thursday) Summer II final exams (grades due Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.)

9: Graduation 7 p.m.

10: (Friday) Last day to pay for housing (financial aid must be applied, installment plan started, or payment in full; all unpaid housing assignments will be cancelled)

15: (Wednesday) Fall registration payment deadline (unpaid classes will be dropped)*

16: (Thursday) No Fall registration, schedule changes, or payment accepted

20: (Monday) Faculty/staff meetings (some offices closed)

21-22: (Tuesday-Wednesday) Fall late registration 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. (payment due

22: (Wednesday) Last day to pay without late payment fee (reinstatement and late payment fees will apply to schedules added back after each non-payment drop)

23: (Thursday) No Fall registration, schedule changes, or payment accepted

24: (Friday) Drops/withdrawals from school must be completed by close of business to receive 100% refund less $15 matriculation fee; Web payment re-opens (6 a.m.); Residence halls open (9 a.m.); Cafeteria opens (noon)

27: (Monday) Fall semester begins
