Chelsey Alexander is the daughter of Matt and Wendy Alexander. Chelsey was involved in many academic, athletic, and civic activities in high school. She was a freshman duchess, a four year varsity softball player where she earned 2nd team outfield her sophomore year, she was a four year all district academic, and earned 1st team outfield her senior year. Chelsey was a lady in waiting during the 75th East Texas Yamboree. Chelsey was a four year member of the FFA and served as student athletic trainer. She was the 2012 football sweetheart. Chelsey is a member of the National Honor Society, an NHS officer, and a member of the student council for 3 years. She is graduating 8th in her class. She plans to attend Kilgore College to finish her basics then transfer to Texas Women’s University to get her degree in nursing.
Anna Potter is the daughter of Yale and Carla Potter. Anna was a cheerleader for four years, including Head Cheerleader her senior year. She was on the Four Year Honor Roll. Anna was a member of the volleyball team for two years, played basketball for one year and played softball one year. She plans to attend Tyler Junior College in the fall where she will work on her basics the first year and will apply to enter the Sonography program, which is highly competitive and only allows 12 students into the program a year. TJC is also the only school in the area to offer this program which makes it that much more difficult to qualify. Anna plans to complete the program and become an Ultrasound Technician.
Connor is the son of Scott and Charlotte Hewitt. Connor participated in football and golf for two years and even though Gilmer doesn't have a rodeo team, Connor belongs to the Texas High School Rodeo Association and has qualified for state in 2012-2013. Connor was an active member of the FFA. Connor was a class officer his freshman year and was no stranger to the A Honor Roll and A/B Honor Roll throughout high school. Connor plans to begin his studies at Blinn College in Bryan to major in Ag Business. Later, he plans to transfer to Texas A&M to finish his degree.
