Three people—all Upshur County residents—have been arrested on unrelated child sex allegations.

They include former policeman Eric Jason Campbell, 41; Raymond Charles Shelton, 23; and Judy Langford, 35.

The Campbell Case was investigated by Investigator Chase Mullins of the Upshur County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division.

He was charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. He is a former Mt. Pleasant policeman, but resigned during the investigation. Campbell’s bond was set at $250,000.

Investigator Chris McCauley investigated the Shelton case.

Shelton was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child on July 29. He was arrested on the sexual assault charge, and also for resisting arrest, with bonds set at $50,000 and $3,000 on the respective charges.

Ms. Langford was charged with Sexual Assault of a Child and On-Line Solicitation of a Child, with bonds set at $50,000 and $10,000, respectively. Also known as Judy Lynn Harroff, she was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 8.

Mullins was also chief investigator on her case.

Supt. Jed Whitaker said she had been a substitute teacher in Harmony Schools, but was removed from the substitute list when the investigation started last December.
