UPCOMING 2014 VALENTINES NIGHT CONCERT BAND SEEKS AREA MUSICIANS & VOCALISTS

Dr. Kenneth Love (aka "Kenny Love") is seeking area musicians and vocalists from the Tyler, Longview, and Kilgore areas to participate as members in his Valentines Night Jazz/R&B music concert.  Dr. Love says the spectacular event will present a mixed repertoire of Jazz, R&B, and Neo Soul music.

(DALLAS, Texas) - - November 20, 2013 - - Dr. Kenneth Love, Jazz/R&B/Neo Soul musician and recording artist, is seeking area musicians and vocalists from the Tyler, Longview, and Kilgore areas who may be interested in participating as members in his band that will perform in Tyler on next Valentines Night 2014.  Dr. Love's music will feature his original Modern Jazz selections, Jazz music selections by other Jazz recording artists, and a selection of Jazz/Funk music from the 1970s from such artists as George Duke, Tom Browne, Parliament/Funkadelic, KC & The Sunshine Band, Brass Construction, Brothers Johnson, and many more.

"First and foremost," says Dr. Love, "for this special Valentines evening, we want to have a multi-fold repertoire that satisfies several types of music lovers.  Secondly, we want to showcase local music talent from the areas of Tyler, Longview, and Kilgore who are impressive and deserve to have their music talent exposed and paraded, pardon the pun," he adds.

Dr. Love has enjoyed an extensive music career from several facets, ranging from musician, recording artist, and studio producer for over thirty years to having also served as a radio program producer and co-host to a 20-year stint as an international radio/video promoter and media publicist.

"While I still enjoy composing, recording, producing and performing immensely, early on, I found it equally important to embrace the business side of music as well in order for my understanding of how the two sides worked cohesively for overall success," he states.  "Through the ability to see both sides of the equation, so to speak, one can better understand the interaction and importance of both areas of the music industry."

Area musicians and vocalists who are extensively familiar with the Jazz, R&B, or Neo Soul genres, should send samples of their music performances or recordings via links, along with their bios, background, and credentials via email directly to Dr. Kenneth Love at drklinfo@gmail.com.  For more information regarding Dr. Love, as well as to experience his original music, visit his website at http://www.kennylovejazz.com.
