Some involved multiple offenses by the same person.
Guilty pleas included:
• Jimmy Earl Jackson, 48, Gladewater, evading arrest detention with a vehicle, a state jail felony. He received two years deferred adjudication probation with a vehicle. He was also fined $400 and ordered to perform 400 hours of community service.
Assistant Upshur County District Attorney Edward Choy was prosecutor, and Dwight Brannon was defense attorney.
• Justin Philip Graef, 28, White Oak, fraudulent possession of a controlled substance-prescription, a third-degree felony. He received a sentence of six years deferred adjudication.
He was also fined $250 and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service. He also was ordered to submit to evaluation to determine if he needs drug treatment. The defendant signed an agreement agreeing to go if it was found necessary and he will turn himself into the county jail.
District Attorney Billy Byrd was prosecutor and Matthew Patton was defense attorney.
• Terry Joe Strong, 44, Omaha, theft of property worth between $1,500 and $20,000, a state jail felony. He received six months in a state jail.
Byrd was prosecutor, and Brannon was defense attorney.
• Paden Dewayne Richardson, 20, Ore City, sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony. He received 30 years in prison, and must serve at least half of his sentence and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
He also pled guilty to a second charge of sexual assault of a child, also a second -degree felony. He received 10 years on that charge.
In addition, his probation was revoked on a charge of burglary of a building, a state jail felony. He received a 2-year sentence for that offense. The sentences all run concurrently.
Byrd was prosecutor, and Brannon was defense attorney, in all the cases.
• Comaneci Meshae Gordon, 34, Gladewater, delivery of a controlled substance-cocaine, two counts. Her probation was also revoked on the same charge. All are state jail felonies.
She received 24 months in a state jail on each charge, with sentences to run concurrently.
Choy was prosecutor, and John Moore was defense attorney.
• Robert Earl Richardson, 28, Longview, evading arrest with a vehicle, a state jail felony. He received five years deferred adjudication probation. He was also ordered to perform 400 hours of community service.
• Billy Donahue Norman, 43, Troup, a state jail felony. He got 10 months in a state jail. Choy was prosecutor, and Charles Van Cleef was defense attorney.
Other motions to revoke probation included:
• Jace Anthony Campise, 20, Big Sandy, theft of a firearm, a state jail felony. He received 24 months in a state jail.
Choy was prosecutor, and Cone was defense attorney.
• Jeremy Michael Wissman, 24, burglary of a habitation, a second degree felony. He received five years in prison. Choy was prosecutor, and Van Cleef was defense attorney.
• Hollie Lynne Davis, 28, Gladewater, assault against a public servant, a third-degree felony. She received three years in a state jail.
Choy was prosecutor, and Moore was defense attorney.
• Randy Van Markhan, 27, Abilene, possession of cocaine, a third-degree felony. He received five years in prison.
Choy was prosecutor, and Griffith was defense attorney.
• Otis Ray Johnson, Jr., 23, Gilmer, burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony. He received four years and six months in prison.
Choy was prosecutor, and Van Cleef was defense attorney.
