The gathering is set for 6 p.m. at the Gilmer ISD Administration Building, 500 S. Trinity.
Albritton recently told The Mirror that the school would deal with an expected reduction in state aid partly by attrition, and that it would reduce its workforce only after trying other measures.
Besides the financial report, the board is scheduled Monday night to hear Albritton discuss three other matters: the school safety committee report, the “racial profile report” from the school resource officer, and a food service update.
Trustees are also scheduled to consult with an attorney in closed session, where they will discuss personnel matters and professional contracts. Any votes on such matters must be taken after the board returns to open (public) session.
The board is also scheduled to consider approving election judges and officials for the May 14 board election; and to consider separate joint election agreements with Upshur County and the City of Gilmer.
Some of the other items on Monday’s agenda include possible approval of out-of-state trips for the junior high band and a junior high class, the high school course selection guide, and the high school cheerleading constitution.
