A Diana woman was killed and four others injured in a one-vehicle wreck Thursday night in Longview.

Sarah Hill, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene by Gregg County Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace B.H. Jameson. The accident occurred just before midnight Thursday.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Robert Casey Kirk, 21, of Gilmer was heading west on Tryon Road at a high road of speed in 2005 Chevrolet pickup when he ran a stop sign. The pickup cross Judson Road, hit a curb and became airborne. It went about 70 yards before it struck a tree.

The DPS said that Miss Hill was not wearing a seat belt.

Joshua Harrington, 20, of Longview, who was a passenger in the truck, is listed in critical condition at Longview Regional Medical Center.

Two other passengers, Charles Matthew Bunton, 22, of Kilgore and Rivera Orenday, 35, of Longview were all listed in serious condition at area hospitals. Kirk was listed Monday in fair condition at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

Gregg County District Attorney Carl Dorrough said that Kirk could be charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault from the wreck.

Trooper Clay Steelman of the Longview DPS office investigated the crash.

Steelman said that Kirk was intoxicated at the time of the wreck. He had at least two previous drunk-driving arrests, according to reports. In December, 2005, when he was 17, he was charged in Harrison County with driving while intoxicated. He received a 15-month probated sentence. A month after that, he was arrested in Longview for driving under influence of alcohol as a minor. Two months later, he was arrested on assault/family violence charges.

Miss Hill was the daughter of Kurt and Tammy Hill of Diana.

Her funeral services, under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home, were Tuesday.
