Funeral services for Samuel Morece Nix, 73, of Azle, formerly of Gilmer, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Pastor Jim Rapp officiating.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Mr. Nix died Friday, Dec. 30.
