| In-person spring registration is Jan. 10 |
| Meningitis vaccination now required for some students |
Kilgore College will only have one day of in-person registration for the spring semester—set for Tuesday, Jan. 10, at both the Kilgore and Longview campuses.
Registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Devall Student Center in Kilgore, and in the Hendrix Building in Longview.
To register in Longview, students must be taking at least one course at KC—Longview.
If a returning or transfer student has no developmental requirements, he/she can register online until midnight on Jan. 10 through Campus Connect at www.kilgore.edu.
As of Jan. 1, Texas law requires that all new and transfer students under 30 years of age must provide documentation of receiving an initial bacterial meningitis vaccination dose or booster within the last five years. Returning students not enrolled in Fall 2011 must also meet this requirement.
Vaccines are available on the Kilgore campus.
Cost of the vaccine at KC is $135, which can be paid for in-person or can be charged to the student’s spring account.
The spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 17.
