Gilmer fell to Henderson 57-42 in a District 16-3A basketball game.
Both teams started slowly, with the Lions taking a 9-3 advantage into the second quarter when they started roaring.
Henderson outpaced Gilmer 18-8 in the second to take a 27-11 lead into halftime.
After building on the lead in the third quarter, 42-24, they coasted to the finish.
Only two Henderson players finished in double figures with 12 and 16 points, but nine different players contributed to the total.
For Gilmer, Jaidon Parrish was the only Buckeye in double figures with 12 points. Darrion Pollard scored 7, Patrick Finch 8, Gavin Holt 2, Jeremy McMillan 2, Traylon Webb 7, and T.J. Boyle 3.
