LETU TO HOST ANNUAL ‘CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE’ GALA FEB. 25
(LONGVIEW, Texas)— LeTourneau University is hosting its annual “Celebrating Excellence” Scholarship Gala honoring endowed scholarship and presidential scholarship donors at a banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Pinecrest Country Club, 214 S. Club Drive in Longview, Texas.
Guest speaker will be Ron Glosser who served as president of Goodyear Bank and retired as president and CEO of the Hershey Trust Company. A native of Ohio and graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Glosser is active as a speaker and vocalist. He has recently written a new book, “The Genealogy of Friendship.” He and his wife, Lily, are the recipients of the Norman Vincent and Ruth Stafford Peale Humanitarian Award. They make their home in Akron, Ohio, and La Quinta, Calif.
