The seventh grade boys from Bruce Junior High finished second in the junior high District 16-3A track meet. The eighth graders from Bruce were fourth overall.

After the rains cancelled the scheduled meet in Gilmer Tuesday, the event moved to Jack C. Murphy Bear Stadium in Gladewater Thursday.
