New turf being installed at Buckeye Stadium

Mirror Photo / Mary Laschinger Kirby<br> WORK HAS BEGUN at Buckeye Stadium replacing the FieldTurf. This week the old turf was stripped off the field. Fine gravel will be added to even out the surface, and the sand, rubber pellets and the new turf will be laid down within a 3-week window. Athletic Director Jeff Traylor hopes the team will get the full 10-year warranty service with this second turf.
