‘Access to Capital’ dinner workshops will be offered in Longview, Marshall

Two dinner workshops, hosted in part by the Kilgore College Small Business Development Center, will be held in Longview and Marshall on the topic of accessing capital and increasing business cash flow.



 



The workshops, called “Access to Capital & Business Cash Flow – Tips to Find $$$,” are set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, in Marshall, and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in Longview.



 



The Marshall workshop will be at the Marshall Center for Applied Technology; and the Longview workshop will be held at Longview Longview Economic Development Corp. 



 



Other hosts of the workshops are Capital One Bank, Longview Economic Development Corp., Marshall Economic Development Corp., Marshall Chamber of Commerce and Accion Texas.



 



A catered dinner and door prizes will be provided by Capital One Bank at both workshops. 



 



There is no fee to attend, but RSVP is required to the KC SBDC by Friday, April 20.

About the workshop:



 



Cash is king!  Businesses today are looking for ways to improve their cash flow.  In this workshop, strategies will be taught to improve cash flow and options for access to capital.  Topics to be discussed include what lenders are looking for when one applies for a business loan and tips to save money and keep the cash in a business longer.
