Car show to benefit Tri-County

Tri-County Community Action and the Cruiser Car Club of Gilmer will co-sponsor a benefit fund-raising car show, the 1st Annual Making A Difference Car Show, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Brookshire's parking lot on U.S. 271North in Gilmer.

Admission is free. Preregistration for auto entries is $15 before Saturday, and $20 that day.

The show will include a concession stand and musical entertainment, said Beth Eubanks, case manager for Tri-County's Gilmer office. Tri-County assists the needy with certain utility bills.
