AMERICAN INDIAN Amy Bruton Bluemel  describes how Indians used a blowgun for hunting to Gilmer ElementaryKindergarten and Pre-K students Thursday. The entire elementary school saw the presentation during the day. Amy is a member of the Chickasaw Nation. She is also a member of the Chickasaw Nation Dance Troupe and travels with them around the United States. She lives in Joshua, Texas with her husband Carl and two daughters, Riley and Chloe. Amy grew up a “military brat” in Germany, Turkey, Okinawa and Scotland. Her presentation also included stories and demonstrations of many tools used by the Indians.
