Texas Shakespeare Festival begins

27th season will run through July 29


 





The Texas Shakespeare Festival opened its 27th season Thursday, June 28, in Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore campus.

This year’s plays include:



·         “The Merry Wives of Windsor” by William Shakespeare



·         “Measure for Measure” by William Shakespeare



·         “David Ives adaptation of “The Liar” by Pierre Corneille



·         The musical “Blood Brothers” by Willy Russell



·         “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jes Winfield



·         “Quest for the Lost Chalice” by Jason Richards



 



The 2012 TSF season will run through July 29.
