New Microsoft workshop will teach small businesses about the ‘cloud’ phenomenon

Kilgore College Small Business Development Center and Longview Economic Development Corporation will host a new interactive workshop called “Microsoft 365 for Small Business.”

 

The workshop is set for 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at LEDCO, located at 410 N. Center Street in Longview.

 

Information will be presented about Microsoft Office 365, a “cloud” service that gives businesses the capabilities to grow and target more rapid success by allowing access to e-mail, documents, contacts and calendars from virtually anywhere on almost any device.

 

Topics will include how to make the cloud work for your business, how to keep familiarity while getting flexibility, how to keep reliability while getting scalability and how to stay in control while working virtually anywhere. 

 

The program will be led by Cody Hertel, owner of Longview Computer Center. 

 

Registration fee is $29, and can be paid by check or credit card.
