Gilmer FFA goes to Fort Worth Ag Mechanics Show

Courtesy Photo / Russell Thomas<br> THE GILMER FFA AGRICULTURAL MECHANICS Team participated in the inaugural Fort Worth Ag Mechanics Show this last week during the annual Livestock Show there. The team received Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Showman awards from the contest. With this honor, Priefert of Mount Pleasant awarded the team 2,000 pounds of steel. Corbin Johnson placed first in class with a hay feeder, while Brady English and Justin Vestal placed 2nd with a 20-foot Gooseneck Trailer. Juan Lopez and Clay Gunby placed 3rd with a 20-foot Gooseneck Trailer. Others receiving blue ribbons were Madeline Oller, Adam Walker and Mercedes Duenas.
