LONGVIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT – CHILD ID PROGRAM AT LONGVIEW MALL
Free child identification records and methods to be offered to area residents
WHAT: Safety first! According to the U.S. Department of Justice, an average of 2,185 children are reported missing each day. One of the most important tools for law-enforcement to use in the recovery of a missing child is an up-to-date, good-quality photograph along with descriptive information. Families are encouraged to come to the Child ID Program, hosted by the City of Longview Police Department, on Tuesday, June 11 at Longview Mall.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recommends parents and guardians keep current child identification information on hand. This free-service event offers Longview-area residents to have their kiddos fingerprinted, voice recorded and photos taken. All information will be saved onto a CD and given back to parents for safekeeping. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to help keep your families safe.
COST: FREE and open to the community, while supplies last
