LETU NAMES AARON KUECKER AS DIRECTOR OF HONORS COLLEGE

            (LONGVIEW, Texas)—LeTourneau University names Dr. Aaron Kuecker as the director of Honors College and associate professor of theology, effective Aug. 1.

            He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Central College, a Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary and a doctoral degree in New Testament studies from St. Mary’s College, University of St. Andrews.

            “I am delighted that Dr. Kuecker has been called to LeTourneau University to lead the university’s Honors College into a bright future,” said LETU Associate Provost Dr. Steven Mason. “Not only does he possess stellar academic credentials in both teaching and scholarship commensurate with leading the College, but Dr. Kuecker also offers the rare giftedness and experience to shepherd and mentor students in their Christian walk both inside and outside of the classroom.”

Kuecker comes to LETU from Palos Heights, Ill., where he served as an associate professor of theology and director of general education at Trinity Christian College.

He also has teaching experience at Western Theological Seminary and St. Mary’s College, University of St. Andrews.

For several years, prior to entering higher education, Kuecker served as the associate pastor, director of small group ministry and adult discipleship and director of senior high youth ministries for Community Reformed Church in Zeeland, Mich.

He and his wife Kerri have two boys, Gabe and Josiah, and two girls, Isabel and Adeline.
