GIRL SCOUT TROOP 3614 of Gilmer made a generous donation of items that will be needed and used for pets that will be helped by the Upshur County Hope House for Pets (UCHHP). Under the direction of Paula Tefteller. Emma, Molly and Becky (pictured above) pose with their contribution as only one part of their efforts to bring awareness of responsible pet ownership. They not only collected the piles and piles of bedding, but they also laundered, mended, and folded each item before carefully packing them for Upshur County Hope House. These young ladies have also developed a Public Service Announcement that will be presented at the next quarterly member meeting for UCHHP scheduled for later this month. It is hoped that a television station will be able to show their video.
