The Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts Program will host its final special Buffet Night of the season on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the NTCC Culinary Institute (“Our Place”) in historic downtown Pittsburg.
The dinner is open to the public and will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Seating is restaurant-style and to-go orders will be available by calling ahead to 903-434-8333 The cost is $10 per person. Reservations for dine-in will not be accepted.
“The response to our first two buffet nights was huge. We are so excited to be able to let our students showcase their skills to the community,” Chef Kathleen Miller, Instructor, said.
The menu for the evening will feature a “Rustic Harvest” that includes curried squash and apple soup, stuffed pork loin with a white wine cream sauce, roasted potatoes with garlic butter thyme sauce, and a pumpkin brûlée tart topped with caramel whipped cream for dessert.
