Join award-winning, master photographer Lorran Meares for a unique 3-D Photography Workshop at 7-10 p.m., Oct. 25, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 26, at the Mary H. Herron Community Conference Center of the Museum of the Red River.
This two-day workshop, which focuses on “learning to see beyond the obvious,” is offered in conjunction with Meares’ current exhibit titled, “Sacred Landscapes.”
No special cameras are required to create stunning 3-D images that can be viewed on an HDTV. We’ll experiment with smart phones, iPads, and digital cameras. On the first night, Meares will demonstrate “painting with light,” using only a flashlight to create amazing images in a nearby landscape. From start to finish, you’ll discover how innovations in 3-D photography can change how you view the landscape, as well as familiar objects.
The cost of the workshop is $ 25. Space is limited for this workshop, so please call the museum at 580-286-3616 to reserve your spot. Visit Meares’ work at www.Enlight-10.com.
