As a long time proponent of HR:25 TheFair Tax Bill I find the facts surrounding the opening of the ACA ofparticular concern. The horror stories surrounding theimplementation of the ACA are true. We are finding out the truth andmillions of Citizens are loosing their current Health Insurance dueto no fault of their own. Let me correct that, no fault of their ownif they did not vote for the current Administration responsible forthis debacle!

I live in North Carolina so our storiesmay or may not apply to you. However the true cost of the ACA will! I thought I was one of the few who will loose there Health Insuranceunder the ACA. I thought I might be in the minority who were seeinga huge increase in Health Care Insurance cost. That is until Iwent to: http://www.nccivitas.org/2013/your-obamacare-stories/

Hear you can read some of the horrorstories, with proof, that directly contradicts what theAdministration said about the ACA. Fact; You do not get to keep yourHealth Insurance if you like it! In fact you will most likely looseit! I'm not talking about people who worked for someone else andthat employer dropped their coverage. I'm talking about people likemyself who had private policies and found they were determined to notmeet the qualifications of the ACA so they will no longer be valid!

What does this have to do with HR:25The Fair Tax you ask? If passed picking winners and losers andforcing Citizens into programs that don't apply to some Citizens yetapply to others will cease to be an issue. HR:25 has a provision torepeal the 16th Amendment which requires the U.S. to transition in an orderly manner from our current failed Federal Income Tax too asimple sales tax that applies to all goods and services. This is notan additional tax as some have implied. It is a total replacementfor the Federal Income Tax. There are no special provisions or loopholes for special interest. Repeal of the 16th Amendment will resultin; "uniform" Federal and State Taxes:

"The Congress shall have Power To layand collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay theDebts and provide for the common Defence and generalWelfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts andExcises shall be uniform throughout the United States; "

The ACA debacle would not be an issueunder HR:25. Special loop holes for campaign contributors willdisappear. Congress could concentrate on passing laws, not arguingover uncontrolled spending and out of controlled debt.  Citizens would no longer be threatened orintimidated by the Federal Governments most abusive tool, the IRS. In short, HR:25 cuts off the blood supply that is the root cause of massive corruption entrenched in the Federal Government.

Readers: Mr. Walker's response should tell you all you need to know about FT propaganda and deception.

I quoted Walker, who wrote, "HR:25 has a provision to repeal the 16th Amendment which requires the U.S. to transition in an orderly manner from our current failed Federal Income Tax ....."

Mr. Walker starts his response by dancing around his lie, claiming in effect that his claim that there is a PROVISION IN HR 25 TO REPEAL THE 16th somehow reveals that there is NO such provision but that citizens will have to seek to a Constitutional Amendment. Wow! I think a jury would find that response to amount to perjury.

To Mr. Walker, its just standard FT blather.

Mr. Walker follows up in his usual fashion - he spews a lot of economic history and rants about today's horrible Income Tax (we know and agree on that, that's why we agree we need to get rid of it - Walker keeps filling up space with this because the FT has nothing meritorious to talk about that has any substance).

Mr. Walker is getting more desperate and is stretching his horizon even further out beyond the ozone layer to try to find more extreme FRAUDULENT rationalizations for this disastrous FT.

He now tells you that the FT will cure Obamacare.

Look very carefully at the FT deception. Walker says "HR:25 has a provision torepeal the 16th Amendment which requires the U.S. to transition in an orderly manner from our current failed Federal Income Tax ....."

This is a BIG LIES. His "provision to repeal the 16th" DOES NOT EXIST. The provision (Sec. 401) says that the FT IS REPEALED if the 16th Amend is not repealed in 7 years.

Repeal of the 16th Amend requires a Constitutional amendment (not the FT) - don't hold your breath.

Other than using fraudulent rhetoric, Mr. Walker continues to slosh over the FT's magical cure of Obamacare, but notice that he never explain exactly how the FT does that - because he has no clue and it does NOT cure it.

Buyer beware!

Sorry if anyone thinks I'm "lying" to them. I happen to believe HR:25 will allow Citizens to regain control of Federal Taxation. I have never said or implied that Citizens will not have to participate or vote for a repeal of the 16th Amendment. When HR:25 is passed. I assume Citizen know changing the U.S. Constitution requires them to vote on any change! The original mistaken passage of the 16th Amendment required a vote also.

Thankfully we now have better communication and over 100 years of history and experience under Our current failed Federal Income Tax. Below is a historical example showing where our current failed Federal Income Tax started. These are 1913 Rates after the 16th Amendment passed and allowed the first Federal Income Tax. There were no deductions the tax was flat but graduated for income. This was because the Federal Income Tax was sold as a tax on the wealthy that would not apply to poor or middle class Citizens. Note this graduation was all about wealth redistribution power and control! Once passed the unscrupulous Representatives and Senators behind the Income Tax push knew they could increase the rate at the bottom or top which they did. In less than 4 years the rate more than doubled! The unscrupulous Representatives and Senators behind the Income Tax push also knew it would allow them manipulate the Income Tax to punish & control Citizens, pay off their contributors and allow them to grow their wealth and the Federal Government to the uncontrollable parasite it is today. There can be no Federal Tax Reform with out the repeal of the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution! When someone promotes reform of the Federal Tax Code without the provision to repeal the 16th Amendment they are wasting their time and yours. There will be one of the greatest struggles ever witnessed by the Citizens of the United States when HR:25 is put before the full House. There are Trillions of dollars in favors and paybacks at stake. Don't be fooled, study the history of the United States before 1913 and after. The greatest growth and prosperity for the Citizens of the United States occurred from 1776 too 1913. In contrast the Federal Government and its Tax burden experienced its greatest growth after passage of the 16th Amendment that allowed the first Income Tax!
