DR. CHESTER STUDDARD, retired Gilmer veterinarian, was inducted into the Carthage High School Athletic Hall of Fame in ceremonies at the school Friday, Oct. 18. Dr. Studdard played baseball at the high school in 1940, 1941 and 1942, lettering all three years. He was All-State Shortstop in 1941. At right, he shows his award.
