NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (November 11, 2013) – Franc D’Ambrosio, famed as “the world’s longest-running Phantom,” brings his acclaimed holiday show, “Christmas in New York,” to the Caldwell Auditorium in Tyler, Texas on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.  Single tickets for this event are $30.  Ticket packages for the four remaining world-class concerts are available for $70.  For more information visit the Tyler Community Concert website at www.tcca.biz or call 903-592-6266.

FrancDAmbosio_LOSPRessBest known for his decade-long appearance in lead role of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Phantom of the Opera,” Franc D’Ambrosio also performed the Academy Award-winning theme song “Speak Softly Love” as the opera singing son of Michael Corleone in “Godfather III.”  He studied under the late Luciano Pavarotti, was picked by Barry Manilow to play the male lead in the pre-Broadway tour of “Copacabana” and earned two GRAMMY® considerations for “Best Male Vocalist” (1999) and “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” (2005).  Other notable appearances include Dorothy Hamill’s “Broadway on Ice” and “Miss Saigon” with the Louisiana Lyric Opera.  D’Ambrosio is also an active educator, delivering master classes and lectures around the world, including the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (Spoleto, Italy), the Julliard School and American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York).  Follow this link to view a video featuring Franc D'Ambrosio.
