The East Texas Oil Museum has a special item for sale this holiday season – a commemorative Christmas ornament depicting a replica scene from the “Daisy Bradford No. 3” well-site in the fall of 1930.

The ornament was designed from a photograph that features principle players in the discovery and development of the well – geologist Dr. A.D. Lloyd and legendary oil man H.L. Hunt.

The Christmas ornament is sold exclusively at the ETOM gift shop and will be available for a limited time.

Cost of the ornament is $15 and revenue from sales will benefit the museum’s operations and maintenance fund.

To place an order using a debit or credit card, call (903) 983-8295.

The museum will be open through Dec. 21.

It will be closed Dec. 22-25 and Dec. 29 through Jan. 1, 2014, but will resume its regular winter schedule on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014.
