Services through the federal Title programs may be available for eligible students attending private schools. Private schools and parents interested in learning more about the federal Title programs are invited to attend one of two informational meetings. The first meeting will be Wednesday, May 21, at 8:15 A.M. in the Board Room of the Gilmer ISD administration building at 500 S. Trinity. A second meeting will be held in the same place on Wednesday, May 21, at 4:15 P.M. Schools that receive services must comply with all requisite federal policies and procedures. A public hearing will be held at the Workforce center at 405 E Marshall St. Gilmer, TX on May 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM concerning changes in service hours for the ETCOG GoBus Rural Transit System. The hours of service change (6:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday) shall become effective on June 16, 2014.
Harmony ISD will hold two Title I public meetings May 29, 2014 at 3:30 and 5:30 pm in the Board Room. Please attend one of these meetings if you wish to help in the planning and evaluation of these programs. A packet concerning eligibility requirements or Title I services will be available at the meeting. Any schools that receive services must comply with all requisite policies and procedures. Students of private non public schools in the district may be eligible for services. Parents or representatives of non public schools are welcome to attend.
