STUDENTS in Julie Moon’s fifth grade science class at Gilmer Intermediate had to come up with a question, design an experiment, test it and record outcomes on a chart or graph.  Then they presented it to the class.   Li Jones designed a rocket powered by air pressure and gave a demonstration for her classmates. Other students grew plants, built electromagnets, experimented with density and performed a  variety of other experiments.
