Former Gilmer Buckeyes Pablin Olivares and Jaidon Parrish, both recent graduates of Gilmer High School, participated in the fourth annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes Chick-fil-A Heart of Champion Bowl Saturday night at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler.

The two Buckeyes were on the Red team, which wound up falling short, 38-28, to the Blue team in the all-star football game.

Other players from Upshur County teams on the rosters included Jacob Fielden and Tim McCoy of Harmony, Taylor Young of Ore City and Garrett Barton of New Diana.
