A native of Florence, Alabama, Mike Adams has been astonishing crowds for over 28 years with his amazing tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Mike’s likeness to Elvis in look, voice, moves and stage presence is uncanny.
He has perforned in; Memphis at Graceland, Las Vegas, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, Pigeon Forge and in hundreds of other cities throughout America.
Mike’s shows are an authentic and exciting musical journey through the years of 1970-1975, when Elvis Presley was touring worldwide. His attention to detail in all aspects of his shows gives you a glimpse of what it was like to have witnessed an Elvis Presley concert. From the jumpsuits, guitars, songs, to the diamond rings, Adams strives to achieve a performace as close to an Elvis Presley concert in the 1970s as possible.
Although Jeff Hornbuckle had been involved music most of his life, it was in 2008 that he was discovered to have the ability to emulate the look and sound of Roy Orbison. He began working with a tribute group called “Classic Legends” out of Florence, Alamama, and auditioned for the part of Tom Jones. A member of the group noticed the similarity to Roy Orbison in Jeff’s voice and he agreed to start working with him on the desired sound. By the group’s next performance, Jeff had captured the voice and look of Roy Orbison. Orbison was one of Elvis Presley’s favorite singers and they became friends in the 1950s, so the pairing of Mike Adams as Elvis and Jeff Hornbuckle as Roy Orbison is a perfect match for an exciting concert event. Mr. Hornbuckle also resides in Florence, Alabama.
