This Saturday and Sunday, Upshur County Hope House for Pets will be holding our very first adoption event at Petsmart in Longview on 259. In order to make this event a success, we need help in the following four areas:

1. Bathing dogs: Saturday morning, we need workers to come help us bathe dogs at Animal Medical and Surgical Hospital in Gilmer from 8-10.

2. Transporting dogs: On both Saturday and Sunday, dogs need to be transported from Animal Medical and Surgical Hospital in Gilmer to Petsmart in Longview from 10-10:30, and then they need to be brought back from 3:00 to 3:30.

3. Event staff: We will begin setting up at Petsmart at 10:30 on both Saturday and Sunday. We need workers there to walk and entertain dogs, clean up cages as needed, and talk to potential adopters about Hope House and the animals.

4. Spreading the word: Even if you can't come help us out this weekend, you can still help spread the word! Please help us get as much exposure as possible!

If you are interested in helping in any of the above areas, please let us know. You can shoot us an email, hit us up on Facebook, or call us at 903-734-4909. Any help is greatly appreciated! Let's make our first adoption event a success!
