On April 6, the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office had taken a theft report about a John Deere 650 LGP with a 40-foot goose-neck trailer that had a 6-inch-by-40-foot joint of pipe on it. These items were stolen from the north end of Upshur County off of a gas well site on FM 2796 between March 27 and April 6.
On May 25, the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office took another report for theft of a tractor. This time the suspect(s) entered a building that is located on the south side of Upshur County.
Suspect(s) removed an International model 574 farm tractor with a loader. The tractor is red in color and has a white loader on it and the center of the rear wheels are also white. Thieves also took a green EZ Go golf cart, along with several tools from the building.
The Upshur County Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for the information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the crimes above.
