Fire Academy No. 101 graduation ceremony postponed to Sept. 7

Kilgore College Fire Academy No. 101 is postponing its graduation ceremony originally scheduled for Aug. 30 due to the crisis caused by Hurricane Harvey.

 

The ceremony has been rescheduled to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in the Bert E. Woodruff Adult Education Center Auditorium in Kilgore.

 

Ten students are candidates for graduation.

 

All area fire department employees and the general public are invited to attend the ceremony.

 

The KC Fire Academy is recognized by the State of Texas as an Exemplary Program and is accredited by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and the State Firefighters' and Fire Marshals' Association.
