She said this anonymous donor will match any donation Windridge receives by Dec. 31, up to a total of $25,000.
“If there was ever a time to make your giving stretch even farther, this is it,” she said.
Windridge uses horses in therapy for injured adults and children, and those handicapped in many other ways.
Mrs. Dewkett said that Windridge does not turn away families in need. Because of donations from the public, they are able to make their services available to those who need them.
“Your gift will multiply, providing us a way to offer our services to the children and families who rely on us,” she said.
Donations may be sent to Windridge, P.O. Box. 5932, Longview, TX 75608-5932. For more information, call 903-797-2414, or go to their web site at www.windridgetexas.org.
