Schultz is a Christian, singer/songwriter whose goal is to incorporate the joys and the challenges of real life and the presence of God into his music. Schultz is a Dove Award-winning artist and his music has found success on mainstream adult contemporary charts with songs like “He’s My Son,” “Letters from War” and “Walking Her Home.” In 2003, his song “Back in His Arms Again” was named BMI’s Christian Song of the Year. Schultz’s music has been featured on television programs, such as, 48 Hours, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, CNN and many more.
Contemporary Christian music group Point of Grace is an all-ladies trio of singers including Shelley Breen, Denise Jones and Leigh Cappillino. The group debuted its self-titled album in 1993 and since then has been recognized as one of the top Contemporary Christian music groups in the United States. By 2003, the group had received 24 No.1 radio singles, which they comprised in their ninth album called “24.” To date, no band in any genre has matched this record. Since 2006, these women have added three more No.1 radio singles to their record.
The Belcher Center seats over 2,000 and is the largest building on LeTourneau University’s 162-acre campus.
