Mardi Gras for the Museum – March 27
The Northeast Texas Rural Heritage Museum hosts a parade, Gumbo Cook-off, Bike Run and a masked ball, with a dinner and live auction. The proceeds benefit the museum. Events include live entertainment, food, mule-drawn wagon rides, historical demonstrations, a quilt display, arts and crafts, old-fashioned games and tours of the Farmstead and Depot museums.
