Spring has arrived to the beautiful East Texas Landscape and the American Veterans are springing into action. Among the smells of freshly cut grass, a new war arises on the home front. Our Nations Hero's are returning home and making the transition to civilian life. This sustainable transition of struggle is not often discussed and is one that brings little to no support to the returning troops, that is until now. This "theater" may be a thing of the past thanks to a small non-profit organization known as Blazing Trails Ministries.

Blazing Trails Ministries is a faith based non-profit located here In Tyler, Texas. Blazing Trails Ministries “general orders” are; A Call to Arms that facilitates Leadership, Management, Stewardship, and Fellowship for

our American Military Veterans, their Families, and our Nations Youth…..One Nation Under God.

It spear heads the American Veteran's Services program. The program reaches across non sustainable lines of the past by moving people forward through self empowerment by restoring dignity, self worth through biblical practices that bring stewardship to our fellow man.

American Veteran's Services assists the returning war hero along with their families by assisting them with the much needed transition back into civilian life. Those services include sustainable employment, logistic support such as a continuation of medical care and related benefits, many of which derive from the military. Many of these men and women aren't aware of the benefits available to them. The program also provides social settings with built in emotional and psychological support systems. When the government benefits end, Blazing Trails Ministries picks up.

Americans want to help their Veterans but don’t know how. Here’s a chance to serve those who served us. This program gives all Americans an opportunity to give our Veterans a “hand up not a hand out” just by calling American Veterans to service your lawn care needs. They will shape up or maintain your yard, pool and surroundings with military precision and pride! At the end of the service a Veteran will proudly place an American flag in the ground of the country they have sworn to protect!

Monetary or equipment donations are greatly needed and appreciated to accommodate the many veterans calling for job placement.
