Armed Forces Day will be celebrated at Fox Stephens Field/Gilmer Municipal Airport on U.S. 271 south of Gilmer on Saturday, May 15.

Activities will include formation flights of planes flying over, skydivers and more.

Rides will be available on vintage planes, and an Air Force jet will be on display.

Classic military vehicles will be on parade, and the Gilmer High School Choir will perform patriotic music.

Carter Blood Center will hold a blood drive during the event.

The celebration starts at 10 a.m., and will continued until 4 p.m.

Parking and admission are free, although donations will be accepted.
